Heres how you install ElvUI and make the most out of your WoW experience.
While there are plenty of World of Warcraft AddOns via third-party websites and software, ElvUI is a plugin-based overhaul that provides intricacy like no other.

Once you move this frame it will always appear where you place it, (which may be behind other windows) and will not dodge other windows as it does by default. ElvUI offers World of Warcraft players a fully customizable user interface that replaces Blizzards default UI. It is fairly small and is labelled "Tooltip," (to be honest it takes up about as much real estate as the word Tooltip) you may have to relocate a frame or 2 to get to it. I’m not sure whether Blizzard allows you to move your skill bars around but there are great benefits to being able to move your skill bars around either to keep them out of your main view on the screen or to put them in the middle if you need to keep an eye on them. Create one in the Game Account Creation page if you dont have any game accounts, or link one in the Account Manager if you already have one.
The tooltip menu by default is anchored to the far right bottom corner of the WoW window. Skill Bars: ElvUI For most other parts of my UI, I used ElvUI. WARNING You dont have any game accounts linked. Now i did copy my profile from my 3.3. I set my profile up manually.(OH I HATED THAT PART) As of now it seems it may be ok and all i have is the 4 elvui files enabled. When you hover over a frame a menu will appear allowing for fine tuning adjustments. wtf replaced elvui with newest version you had. The menu will close and all frames (visible or otherwise) will show as boxes that can be moved by dragging them where you wish. a folder named SavedVariables, this contains global addon save data, stuff that isn't character-specific, although many addons with 'profiles' use global data so that you can copy profiles between characters. Select the folder of the character you want to copy (should have the same name as the character) and press ctrl+c. Select "Tooltip" from the menu on the left side of the window.Įnter "/ec" to open the configuration menu Then go into the account folder, then the realm folder of the character's profile you want to copy. Or you can move its anchor using the general frames toggle (2 in the following instructions), doing this will negate the tooltip dodging around other frames, such as bags, or chat boxes, etc.Įnter command "/ec" to open the config menu. It has multiple addons and plug-ins integrated into it, such as Dominos action bars and TidyPlates. You can attach tooltips to the mouse using this option (1 in the following instructions). It completely replaces the default Blizzard UI at every level with a new and better interface. In ElvUI everything the tooltip displays is controlled in the tooltip section of the configuration.
